Lucia will go over the background and the materials used in abstract painting.. She will have a handout and information on the process and reference links. She will go over ways to look that this genre and will have a demonstration on a 30” x40” canvas with acrylics.

Lucia has a BA in Fine Arts from San Jose State University and teaching credentials K-8 and a MS in organizational development from USF. She has been awarded Best of Show in various local and national Art shows. She has been a member of the Placerville Art for 20 years, Chair of the Mother Lode National Art Show, and a member of Folsom Arts Assn and Pacific Scribes in the South Bay. She has her work displayed at the Arthouse in Sacramento.
